Mail-in Ballot & Absentee Ballot Status
To track your ballot, once you've sent it in, please click here.
If you are already signed up for a mail-in ballot, please follow the steps listed here. You can return your ballot by USPS mail or in-person. For Media residents, you can drop off your ballot in the lobby of the Government Center Building (behind the Courthouse) 24/7. You can also check here for other drop boxes in Delaware County. If you happen to be from somewhere else in Pennsylvania, please refer to your local elections board for more drop off information.
If you are NOT signed up for a Mail-In or Absentee Ballot, you can do so online, via mail, or in person by Tuesday May 13th at 5 p.m. Please visit this website for online registration or a copy of the form for mail-in ballot registration.
We strongly recommend that if you have not mailed your Mail-In or Absentee Ballot by Tuesday May 13th that you drop off your ballot at the Bureau of Elections office in the Government Center Building to avoid any issues with mail handling delays. ALL Voted Mail-In or Absentee Ballot must be received by 8pm Tuesday May 20th, postmarks before that date do not count if they are received late. If you requested a Mail-In or Absentee Ballot towards the end of the window, you will receive your absentee ballot later than this date. If possible, please return the ballot in person.
If, on voting day, you have not returned your mail-in ballot yet, you CAN vote normally in person at your polling location if and only if you bring the entire mail-in ballot packet with you to your precinct. If you have lost all or some of the packet, you can still vote provisionally at your local precinct, it will just take a couple minutes longer to do all the required paperwork.
Election Day
Polls are open from 7 AM to 8 PM on Tuesday May 20th. If you are in line at 8 PM, stay and vote! Your vote will be counted as long as you arrive at your precinct before 8 PM.
If you have any additional questions, please feel free to refer to additional information from the PA Department of State, or our local Delaware County Board of Elections. They are available to help you via email, phone, or in-person to address any questions or concerns you might have.
